Job Summary
Head of UX Design leads design for Trainline's New Business expansion into hotels, car hire, insurance and related verticals; defines and stewardes a cohesive UX across multiple new propositions, partnering with product, engineering and data science to turn vision into live experiences. Responsibilities include building a connected trip experience beyond rail, establishing a rapid prototyping and live-testing cadence, unifying a portfolio of new bets into a coherent Trainline UX, leveraging AI to shape designs, maintaining high craft standards, defining research roadmaps to understand unserved journeys, and growing the design team as the mission scales. The role requires leadership of a cross-functional team, strong storytelling to align stakeholders, and a hands-on approach to craft and strategy while driving adoption of new propositions.
Required Qualifications
- 0â1 leadership and impact: track record taking consumer propositions into market and iterating on real signal; opening up new categories or verticals with commercial impact stories
