Job Summary
Define product strategy for Supply Chain Finance and Core Trade services to drive revenue and operational efficiency while maintaining full P&L ownership. Assess client portfolios to grow wallet share, anticipate market risks, and implement mitigation plans. Conduct new product development, including extensions for evolving trends, in partnership with IT and Ops, while managing stakeholders across Sales, Risk, and Compliance. Provide technical product support to sales teams, review marketing materials against policies, and conduct internal training sessions. Structure reporting updates for senior management and advocate for the product at industry forums. Requires 15% travel.
Required Qualifications
- proven product management and development experience within a Wholesale, Investment or Commercial bank
- Experience of Trade Finance from either a Product, Sales, Operations or Client Service perspective
- understanding of the Trade Finance products including its operation, process flow and financials
- strong knowledge of corporate finance, corporate credit and legal risk
- strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution
- Exceptional organization, management of multiple tasks and time management skills
- presentation and influencing skills both with clients and internal partnerships
- prior collaboration with Sales, Legal and Compliance, Operations and Technology
- creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to proactively distribute thought expertise
- Requires travel (15%)
