Job Summary
Own the Trade & Structured Finance function end-to-end, setting strategy and policy for bank guarantees, structured finance, and working capital solutions. Manage the full guarantee portfolio lifecycle, including facility negotiation, issuance, amendments, and fee management, while driving automation and AI across trade processes to build a scalable, low-touch operation. Develop receivables factoring and supply chain finance programs to optimize working capital, and lead commercial partnering on tenders and bids to support business wins. Establish internal controls, governance frameworks, and covenant monitoring for the trade finance perimeter, and manage banking relationships through onboarding, KYC/AML, and limit negotiations. This role reports to the Corporate Treasurer within ABB's Robotics business as SoftBank Group prepares to acquire the company.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive treasury experience in global, multinational companies
- Strong track record leading trade finance and bank guarantee management
- Deep, hands-on expertise across guarantee instruments – bank guarantees, PCGs, surety bonds, standby letters of credit
- Experience with facility negotiation and guarantee-wording review
- Solid knowledge of structured finance, receivables (AR) factoring and supply chain / payables finance
- Experience with program structuring, provider negotiation and accounting implications
- Practical experience of bank onboarding, KYC / AML, covenant frameworks and lender reporting
- Experience in a multi-entity, multi-country context
- Experience applying AI and / or automation to trade finance processes
- Fluent in English
