Job Summary
Lead national trade sales strategy across major accounts, independent booksellers and core retail channels for the publishing program; translate revenue targets into practical channel, customer and account plans; drive sustainable sales growth through disciplined account planning and strong customer relationships; lead account negotiations, sales presentations and business reviews; oversee compelling account presentations, promotional proposals and customer reporting; review sales performance, customer trends, market share and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities; provide timely sales insight into acquisitions, program planning and publishing decisions; collaborate with Marketing, Publishing, Operations, Finance and distribution partners to support strong commercial outcomes; lead, coach and develop a high-performing national sales team; role is based in Melbourne or Sydney on a 12-month parental leave contract with hybrid working arrangement.
