Job Summary
Lead strategic sales and distribution across channels to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability in Vietnam for Abbott’s products, driving both short-term performance and long-term growth. Build and lead a large, high-performing sales organization (~600 employees), partnering with Marketing, Market Insights, and Commercial teams to shape channel strategies, accelerate market penetration, and execute with discipline. Define and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, drive pricing, promotions, and distribution excellence, and translate market insights into differentiated strategies across GT, MT, Rural, and M&B. Build trust-based partnerships with key customers and strategic partners, govern performance with clear objectives and KPIs, and develop leadership capability through succession planning. The role requires 10+ years in senior commercial roles in FMCG or Healthcare, a Bachelor’s degree, and MBA is strongly preferred. Abbott is an equal opportunity employer welcoming diversity.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in senior commercial or sales leadership roles within FMCG or Healthcare environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Medical, Pharmacy, or equivalent
- MBA strongly preferred
- Proven track record managing P&L portfolios of USD 200M+, delivering growth in revenue, profitability, and market share
- Experience leading large field forces in competitive, fast-changing markets
