Head of Test & Verification, Software & Electronics

Lead the Test & Verification function for Ambu's Software & Electronics, defining the vision and operating model, shaping strategy across cross-site teams to enable earlier verification, stronger automation, and a more predictable release cadence. Drive end-to-end verification involving requirements, development, verification, and design control within a regulated medical device environment. Build and scale a high-performing team (initially ~12 professionals across Ballerup, Augsburg, and Penang) and foster collaboration across software, electronics, systems engineering, QA, regulatory, product management, and Endoscope Systems Test & Verification. Grow the verification capability to improve release planning, risk-based decision making, and compliance with QMS and standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR, FDA design control). The role is based in Denmark (Ballerup) or Germany (Augsburg) with approximately 15–20 travel days per year.
