Job Summary
Head of Supply Planning responsible for leading the development and execution of scalable supply and demand planning strategies, overseeing the integrated planning function, directing the monthly S&OP process, implementing advanced planning tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, finance) to ensure optimal supply chain performance and successful new product introductions. Requires building and mentoring high-performing teams, aligning demand signals with production and inventory plans, and driving scenario planning for NPI with a focus on data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and executive-level communication. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in planning, 5+ years in senior management, and strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and S&OP tools; MBA/MS or related advanced degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years progressive experience in supply planning, demand planning, and/or S&OP
- at least 5 years in senior management overseeing integrated planning functions
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of using data to drive decisions and improve processes
- Excellent communication, influencer, and stakeholder management skills; experience leading cross-functional teams and presenting to C-level executives
- Ability to attract, coach, and develop high-performing teams in fast-paced settings
- Bonus: APICS CPIM/CSCP or IBF certification in forecasting/planning
- Strong expertise with planning systems (SAP APO, Kinaxis, Oracle), ERP/MRP platforms, and analytics or scenario modeling tools
