Job Summary
Head of Supply Chain & Procurement leading SCM across contracting, procurement, logistics and inventory for Barrow Gas Terminal. Drive cost optimisation, governance and performance while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations aligned with business strategy. Responsibilities include SCM strategy development, contract governance, supplier risk management, KPI-driven performance, audits, and stakeholder engagement; requires leadership of SCM teams, deep experience in contracting and logistics in upstream contexts, and eligibility to work in the UK. Hybrid working arrangement with 4 in-office days (Tue, Wed, Thu plus a flexible 4th day) and optional additional in-office days; no travel or accommodation allowances declared. Minimum notice/availability to start to be outlined during application.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified (preferred: MCIPS/CILT or equivalent)
- Strong legal and regulatory understanding of upstream environment
- Experience leading SCM teams in upstream onshore/offshore contexts
- Deep experience in contracting, procurement, contract management, logistics, and inventory management
- Seasoned negotiator with track record of delivering complex deals
- Experience in SCM governance and risk-based controls
- Ability to develop innovative SCM strategies and commercial solutions
- Proven stakeholder engagement capabilities
