Job Summary
Head of Strategic Finance based in New York City, reporting to the Mammoth Brands CFO, partnering with senior leadership to drive capital markets activity, financing strategy, and strategic transactions. Responsibilities include leading debt and equity financing activities, drafting and guiding IPO readiness (S-1), optimizing leverage and liquidity, defining FX risk strategy, managing investment banking relationships, and producing external investor materials and board-facing content. You will drive M&A execution support, pro forma analysis, due diligence, and equity/debt strategy, and own corporate development activities and investor communications. The role requires 7–10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, with hands-on experience in capital markets and complex financial modeling, plus a proven ability to communicate complex analysis to executives. The position is based in NYC with in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the SoHo headquarters, and offers an autonomous, high-impact leadership role with exposure to the CFO/CEO level and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
- deep expertise in M&A execution, financial modeling, and transaction structuring
- experience in capital markets, including equity raises, debt financings, or IPO preparation (S-1 drafting)
- ability to own investor-facing materials (management presentations, investor decks, positioning documents)
- strong external communication skills and ability to translate complex financial analysis into executive narratives
- ability to operate with high autonomy and accountability, interfacing with CFO/CEO level stakeholders
- ability to drive cross-functional projects and partner with senior leadership
- based in New York City or willingness to relocate
- comfortable working in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the SoHo headquarters
- experience supporting corporate development activities and evaluating partnerships/JV opportunities
