Job Summary
Head of Strategic Finance sought to lead Flow’s financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The role partners with the CFO and executive team to drive growth, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic planning across the real estate portfolio and operating business, leveraging AI-enabled analytics and intelligent forecasting. The leader will modernize finance operations, implement AI-driven reporting, and build a scalable finance function, overseeing a 4–5 person FP&A team and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and management reporting. Core responsibilities include developing sophisticated financial models for acquisitions, developments, asset management, capital planning, and strategic initiatives; delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analyses; partnering with leadership on capital allocation and portfolio strategy; supporting financing activities and investor materials; driving finance transformation with automation and AI tools; and improving data architecture, data integrity, and enterprise analytics capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including substantial FP&A leadership experience
- Real estate industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading and developing high-performing FP&A teams
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills (budgeting, cash flow analysis, financial reporting)
- Experience leveraging technology, automation, and AI-driven tools in finance/analytics
- Experience with ERP systems, planning platforms, BI tools, and AI-enabled analytics solutions; advanced Excel and financial presentation skills; Power BI/Tableau/SQL preferred
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
