Job Summary
Head of Sport Sponsorship Media Evaluation responsible for the end-to-end delivery and evolution of Nielsen's QI Media Evaluation-based Sponsorship Measurement across a 100+ portfolio of sports rights holders, leagues, teams, and sponsors in Australia and New Zealand. Lead a 3-5 person team, act as the primary internal/external expert on the QI methodology, monitor product revenue targets in collaboration with Commercial, interpret complex data using Nielsen analysis tools, enable client access to self-service dashboards and tailored insights, and drive cross-functional collaboration to optimize processes and client relationships. Requires 8+ years in relevant roles, a Bachelor’s degree, strong numerical analytics, leadership experience, and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint (Tableau/PowerBI experience beneficial). Also notes awareness of scam risks and official Nielsen verification channels.
Required Qualifications
- QI Media Evaluation Expertise (Mandatory)
- 8+ years in analytical, consulting, or sports/media/entertainment sectors
- Bachelor’s Degree (analytical/numerical focus preferred)
- Analytical prowess and ability to translate data into narratives
- Leadership and autonomy with cross-division collaboration
- Project management with time management and multi-tasking
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) preferred
