Job Summary
Head of Security & Resilience with responsibility for defining and leading Schibsted's security strategy, governance, policies, and standards across multiple brands. Lead crisis management capability, coordinate cross-functional security efforts (crisis management, editorial security, cyber security, physical security), chair a Security Steering Committee, partner with Facilities to uphold workplace security, and develop editorial security frameworks in collaboration with editorial leadership. The role requires advising senior leadership on security risks, crisis preparedness, and resilience, and operating effectively within a matrixed organization while protecting people, operations, and independent journalism values.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a security leader with ability to combine strategic vision with operational execution
- Crisis management, risk management, protective security and organizational resilience
- Ability to operate in complex, matrixed organizations and influence stakeholders across multiple functions and leadership levels
- Strong governance-building and cross-disciplinary alignment skills
- Calm under pressure with high integrity and sound judgment
- Commitment to protecting people, operations, and journalistic values
