Job Summary
Lead and mentor the Security Engineering team while providing technical oversight for securing GFiber's core network infrastructure. Architect and implement robust security controls, leveraging Artificial Intelligence and automation to creatively solve complex security challenges and streamline operations. Partner cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to embed security best practices across the organization. Requires 10 years of experience in network security, including 3 years managing engineering teams, with a preference for CISSP or CISM certifications. Full-time US-based role with a salary range of $184,800 - $271,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience in network security or security engineering
- Experience designing and implementing security architectures
- 3 years of experience managing and leading engineering teams
Desired Qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, or similar industry-recognized security certifications
- Demonstrated creativity in applying AI tools to solve engineering or security problems
