Job Summary
Lead the strategic direction and operation of the secondary school by driving high standards of teaching and learning across the British curriculum. Manage the Senior Leadership Team collaboratively while ensuring full compliance with safeguarding, statutory duties, and regulatory requirements. Build positive relationships with the entire school community through charismatic leadership focused on inspiring and motivating staff. The role requires a recognized teaching qualification, a bachelor's degree in Education, and significant senior leadership experience, ideally within an international or expatriate setting. This position offers a competitive expatriate remuneration package including housing allowance, health insurance, tuition for dependents, and an annual flight allowance.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
- Significant experience in a senior leadership role within a British curriculum school
- Passionate about teaching and highly knowledgeable about the National Curriculum for England
- A strong track record of school improvement and driving high standards of teaching and learning
- A deep understanding of safeguarding, statutory duties, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the whole school community
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an international or expatriate school setting is advantageous
