Job Summary
Lead planning, drafting, review, and filing of Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, including financial statements, footnotes, and narrative sections. Own the SEC reporting calendar, manage cross-functional inputs, and oversee XBRL/tagging coordination to ensure consistent on-time delivery. Establish and maintain the disclosure control environment, ensuring traceability between source data and external disclosures while driving continuous improvement in workflows. Monitor SEC and FASB developments to translate regulatory changes into action plans, track comment letter trends, and benchmark peer filings to reduce comment risk. Partner with Legal, Investor Relations, and the Accounting Policy & Advisory Group to align filings with governance disclosures and technical accounting conclusions. Lead, develop, and mentor SEC reporting team members while fostering strong relationships with Internal Reporting, Consolidation, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPA License
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in SEC reporting/external reporting
- Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting/disclosure requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Having a master's degree
- A demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines with high accuracy and strong judgment
- A strong writing/editing capability for financial statement footnotes and related disclosure narratives
- Experience with SEC reporting platforms and tools (e.g., Workiva or similar), large ERP/consolidation environments, and complex corporate structures
- Prior experience coordinating audits for SEC filings and managing DCP/tie-out controls
