Job Summary
Lead and grow the residential solar sales division in Malaysia by managing the full pipeline from lead qualification to deal closure. Coach and motivate the team to exceed monthly and quarterly targets while recruiting, training, and onboarding new hires. Provide hands-on support during advisory calls, site visits, and documentation to close high-value deals. Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive lead generation, shorten sales cycles, and improve conversion rates. Report to the Country Manager and align with regional functions to ensure scalable operations. Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu with 4-6 years of sales leadership experience required.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles
- at least 2 years of experience leading high-performing, target-driven sales teams
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Hands-on experience managing a sales pipeline or contributing to a P&L
- Strong leadership and coaching ability to train, motivate, and scale a team
- Results-driven, proactive, and highly motivated with a hands-on approach
- Excellent communicator who enjoys engaging with homeowners and solving real-world problems
- Familiar with CRM tools and sales reporting
- Flexible to work non-standard hours or travel for customer site visits
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken
- Adaptable and quick to learn in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably experienced in fast-paced, high-growth startups or tech enabled businesses
- Industry exposure in consumer services, financial services, real estate, or renewable energy
