Job Summary
Head of Sales - Europe at Roke leading international revenue growth in defence/national security capabilities. This client-facing, sales-led role owns the full sales lifecycle, from identifying and shaping opportunities to winning contracts across Europe, leveraging partnerships and in-country channels. You will engage senior military/government and commercial stakeholders, drive pipeline momentum, forecast accurately, and collaborate with bid and business-winning teams to convert high-quality pipeline into revenue. The role requires strong domain knowledge in sensing, communications, cyber, and intelligence capabilities, and the ability to position Roke’s offerings across complex organisations while representing the company at exhibitions, trade missions, and customer events.
Required Qualifications
- Domain Expertise within Defence, National Security, or adjacent sectors
- Market Access & Commercial Hunter Mindset
- End-to-End Sales Delivery across multi-country environments
- Commercial & Strategic Acumen with ability to shape opportunities
- Strong European Market Knowledge and complex solution selling experience
- Revenue Delivery with track record of significant pipeline-to-revenue conversion
- Sales Discipline & Forecasting using CRM and structured pipeline management
- Bid & Capture Sales Leadership experience
- Cultural & Regional Fluency in European markets
- Collaborative leadership across cross-functional, multi-country teams
- Eligibility to achieve DV clearance; be a British citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 10 years
