Job Summary
Head of Sales for Construction Aggregates leading business development and sales for a surface quarry operation. Responsible for servicing existing accounts, acquiring new customers, preparing quotes, and developing market opportunities. Travel 75% to call on customers, maintain customer relationships, and coordinate with plant operations. Must drive effective CRM usage, deliver presentations (PowerPoint, webinars), conduct market analysis, and provide feedback on product, service, and policy. Requires strong outside sales experience in quarrying/mining contexts, ability to meet/exceed sales quotas, and excellence in communication and relationship management. Location-based in San Antonio, TX with in-person field responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Some college coursework
- BA or BS preferred
- 5+ years of progressive outside sales experience
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Proven selling skills related to acquiring new business
- Strong prospecting/cold calling and rapport-building skills
- Ability to interpret data and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive outside sales experience
