Job Summary
Lead HSE strategy across operations, translate strategy into actionable plans, drive risk management to identify and mitigate critical risks, oversee incident investigations (ICAM) with root-cause analysis and corrective actions, provide visible safety leadership and champion continuous improvement, partner with business leaders to embed best practices, build and develop a high-performing HSE team, ensure compliance with ISO45001/ISO14001 and regulatory requirements, and deliver insights to influence senior decision-makers while supporting bids and stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment, Risk, or related discipline
- 7–10+ years’ experience in senior HSE leadership roles
- Deep expertise in HSE legislation, risk frameworks, and management systems (ISO standards)
- Proven ability to lead cultural transformation and influence senior stakeholders
- Incident investigation methodologies (e.g. ICAM)
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience building and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to translate vision into practical, operational outcomes
