Head of Retail Income Pricing

Job Summary
Head of Retail Income Pricing leads end-to-end pricing strategy for Retail Income products, owning pricing data, models, and processes and driving automation or efficiency improvements (including AI) to support financial objectives. Responsible for the Retail Income pricing performance, driving initiatives to improve optimisation and conversion, collaborating with commercial and distribution leads, and partnering with the Retail Reinsurance team to optimise reinsurance for pricing strategy. Requires FIA/FFA or equivalent with substantial experience in the retirement market, leadership experience, and strong communication to present complex financial concepts and influence stakeholders. Senior leadership role within Just’s Retail Actuarial & Reinsurance team, London hybrid location, reporting to the Director, with a focus on strategic pricing, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering robust, competitive pricing aligned to business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified FIA, FFA or equivalent
- Significant experience in the retirement market, focused on product development and pricing activities or managerial level experience
- Proven experience leading pricing-related projects or development projects
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence others
- Strong strategic vision and development skills
- Understanding of competitive landscape in retirement income and long-term care markets
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-moving environment with tight deadlines
