Job Summary
Head of Retail Expansion leads Abby Clinic's first physical health activation space rollout in Australia, from site confirmation through opening day and beyond. Owns all retail operations including lease negotiation, fit-out project management, supplier setup, staff induction, uniforms, equipment, and opening stock; collaborates with internal teams on fit-out and staffing; documents learnings to build a repeatable playbook for national rollout; oversees site selection, multi-site rollout, and ongoing operations including P&L reporting and relations with shopping centre operators; seeks to build a local ops team as the network grows; requires proven experience in retail operations or multi-site expansion and capability to open multiple locations. Healthcare experience is not required or expected.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail operations or multi-site expansion
- experience opening multiple locations
- familiarity with shopfitters and kiosk fit-outs
- ability to manage site selection, lease negotiation, fit-out PM, local staff hiring and operational setup
- understanding of retail compliance and operations
- ability to build and document an opening playbook
- ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-rollout environment
- willingness to work in a physically open retail expansion context (healthcare retail)
