Job Summary
Senior Head of Quality role responsible for defining and embedding a robust quality strategy across design, manufacturing, and supply chain; leads the Quality team; owns ISO 9001 QMS, CAPA, change control, and audit readiness; drives risk-based thinking, continuous improvement, and compliance with EN 54, BS 5839, UKCA/CE, LPCB/UL where applicable; focuses on protecting product integrity, customer safety, and organizational growth by delivering a data-driven, KPI-led quality program and partnering with senior leadership to ensure regulatory and certification requirements are met across fire detection and alarm products.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Quality leadership experience within electronic, electrical or safety-critical manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of fire detection and alarm standards (EN 54 essential)
- Proven experience owning ISO 9001 systems and leading external audits
- Strong understanding of product compliance, certification and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to influence at senior and board level with confidence and credibility
- Experience leading and developing technical Quality teams
