Job Summary
Own the quality strategy, release readiness, and delivery outcomes across Manual QA and Test Automation teams operating at the intersection of embedded firmware, mobile applications, and cloud services. Define and execute the QA and Test Automation strategy, expanding automated test coverage and establishing scalable processes, standards, and tooling. Drive quality gates throughout CI/CD pipelines and partner with engineering, product, and external partners to ensure quality is built into every stage of product development. Provide technical leadership on complex validation challenges, including firmware validation, HW/SW integration, Bluetooth interoperability, and AI feature validation. Represent quality engineering in customer discussions, audits, and executive stakeholder reviews. This role defines the company's quality vision and establishes practices that determine whether software is ready to ship.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software QA
- at least 3 years leading QA organizations with a minimum of 5 direct reports
- Extensive hands-on experience testing embedded firmware and mobile applications
- experience including firmware validation and system integration testing
- Proven experience defining company-wide QA strategies

- Demonstrated success building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing QA and Test Automation teams
- Deep expertise designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
- using PyTest, Appium, or equivalent automation technologies
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
