Job Summary
Head of Public Acquisition leads and manages WV Indonesia’s Public Acquisition Unit to generate funding and partnerships with Indonesian mass donors (including Digital, Church, School, University, and other communities). Develops and implements the annual business plan and donor engagement strategy, builds and sustains relationships with donors and partners, and coordinates cross-functional efforts with program teams to ensure donor interests align with WV IDN program needs. Responsibilities include strategy development and planning, resource acquisition and management, capacity building for the unit, accountability and quality assurance, networking and coordination with priority donor segments, due diligence and governance for partnerships, and leadership of the team to achieve annual funding targets. Requires managing donor relations, developing collateral, ensuring timely donor reporting, and travel as domestically required. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (TOEFL 500), strong written communication, CRM/database usage, and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment with complex work streams. Demonstrated Christian leadership and commitment to the organization’s safeguarding and governance standards. Travel domestically may be required; role emphasizes leadership, strategy, donor engagement, and partnership development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Economics, Marketing, Communications, Social Science, Engineering, Public Administration or other relevant subjects
- At least 3 (three) years professional experience in leadership position, involve in Resource Development and External Engagement strategy or implementation processes and exposure to Corporate Communications
- Track record of success in marketing, networking, partnering and donor relations
