Job Summary
Oversee all projects in South Sudan through the full project management cycle, ensuring clear objectives, realistic implementation plans, and rigorous monitoring and evaluation processes. Lead the development of the country strategy, concept notes, and budgets while managing program spending against targets and coordinating with finance and HR to fill staffing gaps. Provide ongoing technical support and capacity building to the program team, including Project Managers and Technical Coordinators, while ensuring compliance with donor requirements, international protocols, and ethical standards. Report weekly to the Country Director on activities, achievements, and recommendations, and coordinate with partners, donors, and government structures to prevent duplication and align interventions with local needs.
Required Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in international development, social sciences/economics, psychology, social work, or other relevant fields
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in international humanitarian organization
- Experience in multi-sectoral programming in Protection, Health and WASH programming
- Proven experience implementing program in developing countries or emergency settings
- Experience managing projects funded by institutional donors and UN agencies
- An excellent understanding of, and practical experience with programme design tools, MEAL, program management tools and ethics in programming
- Experience in directly managing and supervising diverse and multinational and Multi-cultural teams
- Ability to relate to and motivate staff effectively
- Demonstrated experience of staff capacity building
- Structured organizational skills

- Must be able to travel to the field
- Must be a South Sudanese National
