Job Summary
Develop and execute production plans to meet targets and deadlines while monitoring workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Lead, mentor, and manage production supervisors, operators, and technicians to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Implement rigorous quality control processes to uphold product consistency, investigate quality issues promptly, and oversee equipment maintenance to minimize downtime. Manage production budgets for labor, materials, and equipment expenses while collaborating with procurement for raw material supply. Ensure full compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations by monitoring protocols that protect employees. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years in sweet manufacturing, and proven leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sweet manufacturing or a similar food production environment
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
