Job Summary
Lead the production discipline for a large-scale AAA action-adventure game, defining delivery strategy and driving alignment across studio functions. Adopt and execute the existing production plan to ship the first title, while integrating improvements for the next game and establishing long-term production methodology. Maintain and improve the delivery strategy to translate product vision into feasible plans within time, budget, and resource constraints. Evolve the production org structure, own career development frameworks, and lead senior managers to ensure a cohesive, high-performing team. Set and uphold production standards for tooling, tracking, and milestone processes, ensuring consistent reporting on velocity metrics and delivery risks. Monitor project and team health across strike teams, proactively identifying risks and building mitigation strategies while championing rigorous project management discipline. Own the production headcount budget and workforce plan, including contractor strategy and ramp planning, in partnership with Finance and Operations. Represent the production function in executive and publisher-facing forums, communicating project status, delivery risk, and strategic recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 10+ years of experience in game production
- 4+ years at a senior leadership or director level
- Shipped at least one AAA title in a senior production leadership role
- Experience leading and mentoring a production team across multiple disciplines (design, art, engineering, narrative, audio)
- Deep understanding of dynamics of complex projects from feature integration through final content lock
- Bachelor's degree in Production, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
