Job Summary
Lead and manage the Production Engineering organization, driving new product introductions and manufacturing process implementations while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and governance. Oversee the plant's production concept, coordinate engineering support for launches, and lead continuous improvement initiatives including productivity gains, cost reduction, and VAVE activities. Manage departmental budget and resources to achieve productivity and investment objectives, while developing the team through coaching, succession planning, and performance development. Requires a Bachelor's in relevant engineering fields, 5–10 years of automotive wiring harness experience, and strong leadership in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in Manufacturing or Production Engineering within the automotive industry, with proven experience in wiring harness manufacturing
- Minimum 5-10 years of leadership experience managing Production Engineering, Plant Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, VAVE, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Industrial Engineering methodologies
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Must agree to the data processing procedure described in the application system
