Head of Product Management LIMS / LIS Clinical Diagnostics

Job Summary
Define the product vision and roadmap for the LIMS/LIS Clinical Diagnostics Europe system, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and compliance. Lead a multidisciplinary team of up to six people, including Product Owners and Business Analysts, to prioritize epics, manage the backlog, and ensure requirements are clear and testable. Collaborate with IT Architects, developers, and external vendors to plan delivery, support sprint planning, and validate outcomes against business expectations. Own product success metrics, forecast budgets, and drive continuous optimization across the full lifecycle from ideation to retirement. Provide regular status updates and lead steering meetings to align stakeholders on progress and risks.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior Product Management, Head of Product, Product Lead, or similar role in a complex IT environment
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams of up to six people, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Functional Analysts
- Strong understanding of software and IT product lifecycles, from strategy and roadmap definition to delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across Business, IT, and external vendors
- Familiarity with agile and/or hybrid delivery models such as Scrum and SAFe
- Broad understanding of IT systems, applications, integrations, and data flows
- Awareness of security, data privacy, compliance, and regulatory constraints in enterprise IT
- Ability to prioritize based on value, risk, and effort
- Data-driven decision-making mindset
- Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements
- Strong people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders across different functions and levels of seniority
- Structured, proactive, and results-oriented working style
- Comfortable navigating complex and international organizational environments
Desired Qualifications
- A background in the TIC (Testing, Inspection and Certification) industry and/or Healthcare is a plus
- Experience with LIMS/LIS products or LIMS development is a plus
