Job Summary
Manage product development projects for connectivity solutions, including cables, connectors, and active components across APAC. Coordinate with regional teams to allocate projects, align specifications, and execute development from concept through series production using stage-gate processes. Lead technical guidance for series development teams, plan resources and budgets, and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and timeline targets. Develop the company's exploration center and demo kits in APAC while supporting the expansion of the Singapore laboratory for supplier product testing. Collaborate with global R&D, procurement, and quality assurance to drive innovation, acquire intellectual property rights, and represent the company in standardization committees.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in leading a technical product team
- Experience in cable testing and approval procedures
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong communication, writing and presenting skills
- Detail with good analytical / problem solving abilities
- Experience in professional management of teams
- Mon to Fri 9am - 6pm
Desired Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in series development of technical products, ideally in the field of connectivity technology
- Computer literate and knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High affinity for solving technical problems using state-of-the-art simulation and calculation methods as well as a wide variety of measurement techniques
- In depth knowledge of the competition landscape across industry in connectivity solutions
- Professional experience in development of technical products, ideally in the field of connectivity technology and in an internationally operating corporation
- Other language is at advantage as the role will have to support our China team
