Head of Product Analytics

Job Summary
Head of Product Analytics responsible for steering Tide's product analytics practice to drive product adoption and engagement through data-driven decision-making. Core duties include leading product discovery via hypothesis-driven analysis of existing product usage data, designing and analysing product experiments, reviewing feature performance and KPIs, conducting user research to surface high-impact problems, translating revenue goals into measurable business KPIs, and enabling a self-serve analytics platform for app and web products. The role requires strong SQL skills, a track record of leading analysts in product-focused environments, excellent communication, and a self-starter approach with the ability to challenge status quo while prioritising impact. Collaboration spans product managers, data engineers, and data science teams; fintech/consumer tech experience is a plus. Remote-first with in-person and hybrid opportunities as part of Tide’s flexible working model.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Product Analytics or related field
- Experience leading analysts or data teams
- Strong SQL proficiency
- Experience with product analytics, experimentation, and KPI development
- Ability to translate business goals into measurable analytics
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
- Experience with fintech or consumer tech products (preferred)
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with self-serve analytics platforms and tooling
