Job Summary
Develop and execute the UK&I Sourcing & Procurement strategy aligned with regional and global objectives, establishing the procurement vision and operating model across the region. Lead strategic sourcing, category management, and supply-chain initiatives while overseeing complex high-value tendering, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and key clients, translating commercial priorities into sourcing strategies and presenting commercial outcomes to decision-makers. Manage supplier relationships, governance, and performance, mitigating commercial and supply-chain risks while ensuring compliance with ESG requirements and procurement standards. Lead and develop the UK&I procurement organization, coaching the team to build capability and promote a high-performance culture focused on commercial impact and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Significant senior-level experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain or Category Management
- Ideally within a complex multinational organisation
- Typically 10+ years of procurement/sourcing experience
- Including substantial leadership responsibility
- Proven experience developing and executing enterprise or regional procurement strategies
- Strong experience managing large and complex spend portfolios and multiple procurement categories
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management and complex contract negotiation
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial analysis, business cases and total-cost-of-ownership modelling
- Experience operating within a matrixed regional/global environment
- Excellent senior stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation capabilities
- Demonstrated people leadership and experience developing high-performing procurement teams
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data and market intelligence into commercial strategy
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related discipline
- CIPS/MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification
