Job Summary
Head of Procurement at OLIVER (a Brandtech Group company) in London leveraging a technology-first approach to drive a seamless procurement lifecycle and cost-effective contracts across the group. Lead the opportunity pipeline, pilot and rollout of Procurement technology (Omnea) for IIG, and collaborate with executive and senior operational leads to implement strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost-saving initiatives. Focus on leveraging data insights and benchmarks to optimize technology, IT spend, software/SaaS, HR tech, and corporate services; champion sustainability and DEI objectives through supplier choices; manage renewal pipelines and contract risk while aligning procurement with overall business growth and group objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Significant senior experience in a related procurement role
- Experience of leading or contributing to building a Procurement function is an advantage
- Strong leadership and a self-starter mindset with the ability to influence at senior levels
- In-depth knowledge of operating and launching latest Procurement technology to drive automation
- Proven in-depth knowledge of sourcing principles and best practices
- Experience of IT/Technology spend categories is advantageous
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, positively changing environment
- Excellent negotiation skills with creative/problem-solving mindset to drive savings
- Strong understanding of key contractual terms and conditions to drive efficiencies and mitigate risk
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data quickly; strong Excel skills
