Head of Power Systems (m/f/d) UK & Ireland

Head of Power Systems, UK & Ireland leads Ramboll’s Power Systems market position in the UK, with strategic direction to grow a consulting-led Power Systems business, acting as a technical authority and trusted advisor to clients. Role responsibilities include setting and executing the UK Power Systems strategy aligned to network investment, system operability, and net zero drivers; shaping Ramboll’s positioning beyond study delivery; leading client conversations with UK DNOs/TSOs and major contractors; overseeing senior technical delivery with grid-code and ENA standards compliance; growing and developing a high-performing UK Power Systems team; driving portfolio performance, commercial discipline, and risk management; and leveraging global capability to strengthen delivery in both transmission and distribution contexts. Essential qualifications include senior experience in consulting engineering within power systems and a degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering (chartership preferred).
