Job Summary
Head of Post-Silicon Engineering leading ultra-low-power MCU/SoC post-silicon validation from first silicon through mass production. Own silicon bring-up, validation, debug, and system integration for MCU-based wearables/hearables/IoT products; build and lead a global, senior-engineering organization; define strategy, roadmaps, resourcing, and lifecycle support; drive power, performance, and thermal characterization across PVT; collaborate with Design, Verification, Firmware, and Product/Test groups; engage with customers for field issues and provide designs and reference materials to accelerate time-to-market; this role is on-site in NW Austin and requires high-impact technical leadership across multiple regions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 20+ years of semiconductor development experience in MCU or low-power SoC post-silicon validation, bring-up, or test
- 7+ years in senior leadership roles (Director, Sr. Director, or equivalent)
- Experience with post-silicon validation, bring-up, test, and production ramp
- Strong technical expertise in low-power MCUs, ARM Cortex-M or equivalent cores, memory subsystems, clocking, power domains, analog/mixed-signal, security
- Experience with lab bring-up tools and environments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers)
- Experience with validation and automation frameworks (Python/C/C++, scripting, regression infrastructure)
- Knowledge of ATE concepts, test coverage, and lab-to-production correlation
- Proven ability to lead multi-product programs and deliver on aggressive timelines
- Leadership of global teams across multiple regions preferred
- Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship expected
