Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end transition of RR SMR's powerplant from concept through development, industrialisation, and full-scale site delivery. Establish the enterprise-wide Plant Delivery strategy, operating model, and capability roadmap to enable the industrialisation and fleet deployment of a £3bn+ product portfolio. Ensure organisational and operational readiness across Safety, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations by leading cross-functional teams to mature and validate all powerplant elements for repeated, safe, and efficient delivery. Manage a large, cross-functional team to drive First-of-a-Kind delivery and future fleet-scale deployment across multiple programmes and geographies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in leading large-scale engineering programmes such as Plant Delivery Mobilisation, New Product Introduction, Industrialisation, Product Engineering, or Major Programme Delivery
- The design, implementation and operation of rigorous Plant Delivery Mobilisation frameworks, methodologies and operating models
- The ability to interface confidently and competently with regulators, and all internal teams, on technical matters
- A Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development or related technical discipline
- exposure in regulated or safety‐critical environments
