Job Summary

Head of Planning & Analytics leads the analytical foundation for Slate's direct-to-consumer automotive sales organization. Design and own end-to-end sales funnel analytics, MQL-to-SQL criteria, lead scoring models, and CRM tooling. Build scalable data architecture, data governance, and reporting that enable cross-functional teams (Marketing Analytics, IT, Digital) to drive forecasting, sales productivity, and executive dashboards. Responsibilities include defining funnel criteria, partnering with Growth Marketing on MQL-to-SQL handoffs, maintaining SQL-based lead bucketing, implementing forecasting models, and delivering real-time insights via dashboards. Requires strong experience with CRM and BI tools, data pipelines, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations for Sales leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in sales analytics, revenue operations, or sales planning
  • Proven track record of building analytics frameworks, CRM infrastructure, or sales intelligence functions from the ground up
  • Deep expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing Analytics, IT, and Digital teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
