Job Summary
Head of Performance Marketing for an e-commerce store based in Barcelona. Lead and mentor a performance marketing team (up to 4 people: 2 for Meta Ads; 2 for Google Ads), manage a yearly budget of about 3 million USD across Google Ads and Meta Ads for markets in the US, UK, and EU, and drive profitability alongside revenue growth. Hands-on with Google Ads, Meta Ads, text/shopping campaigns, PPC best practices, Google Analytics, and Google Sheets. Collaborate with co-founders to execute marketing strategy, monitor campaign performance, conduct data analysis and reporting of marketing costs, and translate industry trends into actionable opportunities. Strong focus on structuring and optimizing campaigns, with experience in leading a small marketing team, project management tools (e.g., ClickUp), and a preference for an office-based setup in downtown Barcelona (WeWork) with travel to London and Belgrade. The role emphasizes a business view of profitability metrics, ensuring profits grow before margins erode, and a truly international work environment.
