Job Summary
Head of People role leading the operational HR function across multiple sites in a regulated wellness/fitness business. Responsibilities include managing operational HR activity, employee relations, investigations, disciplinary matters, grievances, performance management, and escalation when needed. Provides trusted advisory support to leadership teams, ensures compliance across DBS, GDPR, professional registrations, insurance, and right-to-work, and drives ongoing implementation and optimization of Factorial HR software to improve reporting and efficiency. Builds relationships across operations, finance, recruitment and SLT; contributes to business objectives and people strategy while delivering practical HR support in a lean environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced, commercially minded HR leader with strong emotional intelligence, capable of navigating a fast-moving, multi-site organization and balancing people priorities with business needs.
