Job Summary
Head of Payment Operations at Lemonway in Paris, overseeing two teams focused on payments processing and cash management to ensure regulatory-compliant, timely processing and fund stewardship. Lead operational excellence, supervise daily pay-ins and pay-outs, manage treasury activities and fund segregation, ensure reconciliation integrity between back-office records and bank entries, drive process improvements with Product & Tech, guarantee regulatory reporting and compliance, deploy cross-functional initiatives (banking relationships, multi-bank tools, and AI-driven automation) to scale operations and support European payments transformation projects.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in payments and/or treasury operations
- Experience with European and international payment rails (SEPA SCT, SCT Inst, SDD, SWIFT)
- Experience with SEPA participant environment
- Mastery of a TMS (preferably Sage) and a reconciliation tool (Calixys or equivalent)
- Strong regulatory knowledge for payment institutions (EP license, fund segregation, DSP2)
- Ability to read and challenge complex financial and regulatory reports
- Fluency in French and English
