Job Summary
Lead a small team of PA/QA engineers and inspectors to define and implement product assurance plans aligned with space industry standards like ECSS and ISO. Manage non-conformances through root cause analysis and corrective actions while overseeing manufacturing processes, configuration control, and documentation approvals. Chair product assurance reviews for key milestones, support design reviews, and conduct hardware inspections to ensure reliability and safety. Liaise with customers and external stakeholders on quality matters, participate in internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires 3+ years in product assurance within the space sector and a degree in engineering. Required Qualifications
- 2 years proven experience managing a team
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience in a Product Assurance, Quality, or Reliability role
- ideally within the space, aerospace, or high-reliability electronics sector
- Strong knowledge of space or aerospace standards (e.g. ECSS, ESA requirements, ISO 9001/AS9100)
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, testing, and inspection processes
- Experience with non-conformance management, risk assessment, and problem-solving methodologies
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test requirements
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and analytical approach
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
