Job Summary
Head of Operations responsible for shaping and executing the company’s operations strategy with accountability for production, planning and logistics in Sweden and Germany. Lead and develop production and planning functions, ensure high delivery precision, quality and cost awareness, and optimize procurement strategies and supplier relations. Identify capacity constraints and drive productivity initiatives; lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs; manage budgets, investments and KPI tracking; coach and develop managers and staff; ensure ISO and EHS compliance and collaborate with other business functions. Requires an experienced leader with a university-level technical or industrial economics background, at least ten years in senior manufacturing/operations roles, strong Lean/Six Sigma capabilities, ERP/SAP experience, and proficiency in Swedish and English (German preferred).
Required Qualifications
- University degree in technology, industrial economics or a related field
- At least ten years of leadership experience in production, manufacturing or operations
- Experience leading change and improvement initiatives with focus on increased efficiency, productivity and profitability
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Experience with supply chain management
- Good financial understanding and experience with budgets, investments, KPIs and operations governance
- ERP experience, preferably SAP
- Fluency in Swedish and English; German a strong advantage
