Job Summary
Head of Operations at Somethings will own the end-to-end delivery operation for mentor and clinical workforce, design scalable operating systems, and partner with product/engineering to build tooling and data infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing mentor capacity, onboarding/training/certification, credentialing and compliance across multiple states, quality and safety controls, operational readiness for audits, and scaling partnerships with payers. The role emphasizes building repeatable processes, unit economics, dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration to scale care delivery while maintaining high-quality, safe care for teens. Key signals include leadership of a distributed workforce, multi-state credentialing, regulatory readiness, and a product-minded approach to operations in a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare startup.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of operations experience in healthcare or digital health, including owning and running a provider / care-delivery operation that has scaled
- built and scaled a distributed clinical or peer workforce end to end (onboarding, training, performance, retention)
- deep understanding of credentialing across multiple states (organizational / payer enrollment and individual provider credentialing)
- experience in virtual care, teletherapy, or a care marketplace is preferred
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail with operational rigor
- product-oriented mindset and ability to partner with product and engineering
- comfort with owning operational KPIs, cost-to-serve, utilization, and gross margin
- experience in regulated care environments focused on safety and quality
- strong leadership; ability to hire, build, and scale a team
- strategic and financially fluent with potential to scale into a COO role
- thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven startup environments
