Job Summary
Head of Operations role leading operational, financial, and HR infrastructure within a national youth mental health NGO. Lead scalable systems and processes to support growth, partner with the CEO on budgeting and performance, oversee governance, risk, compliance and WHS, and manage procurement, contracts, facilities, and technology. Drive reporting through operational dashboards, support recruitment and development, and shape a high-performing, psychologically safe workplace to enable frontline clinicians to deliver youth-focused, nature-based therapy. Hybrid work available from Ballina, NSW, with 0.8–1.0 FTE by negotiation; SCHADS Level 8 with above‐award negotiation and salary packaging benefits. The role requires experience in NGO/community services, budgeting, HR, and risk management, plus familiarity with Employment Hero and Monday.com, and compliance with SCHADS and Fair Work Act.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business, HR, or related field is highly regarded
- Current National Police Check is mandatory
- Working with Children Check is mandatory
