Job Summary

Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for nuclear systems, managing the full sales pipeline from market development through contract award. Build and grow qualified commercial and government opportunities by identifying new customers, partnerships, and applications across the nuclear energy sector. Establish relationships with senior decision-makers, technical leaders, and strategic partners while leading complex technical sales cycles and negotiations. Translate engineering capabilities into customer value propositions through presentations, demonstrations, and site visits. Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and revenue forecasts in collaboration with engineering and leadership. Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity to guide product development and long-term strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, program development, or commercial leadership within nuclear energy, aerospace, defense, advanced energy, or another highly regulated technical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex engineered products, systems, or technical services.
  • Strong understanding of the nuclear industry and its customers, procurement processes, regulatory environment, or technology ecosystem.
  • Ability to understand complex engineering concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and close complex, high-value opportunities with long sales cycles.
  • Experience developing technical proposals, commercial offers, pricing, and contract strategies.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, written communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working directly with engineers and senior company leadership in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings, site visits, conferences, and industry events.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Existing relationships within the U.S. nuclear energy ecosystem.
  • Experience working with advanced reactors, SMRs, microreactors, nuclear components, instrumentation, thermal systems, power systems, or related technologies.
  • Experience with Department of Energy programs, national laboratories, government contracting, or nuclear regulatory environments.
  • Experience developing a new market, product line, or sales organization from an early stage.
  • Track record of securing multimillion-dollar technical contracts or strategic partnerships.
