Job Summary
Head of New Business Development at Save the Children Sierra Leone leads funding growth and diversification for the country office. Responsibilities include coordinating the annual funding strategy, developing an engagement plan with donors, implementing partners and stakeholders, managing high-quality proposal design and submissions, leading opportunity capture and portfolio planning, steering donor engagement and relationship management, and guiding strategic partnerships and capacity building across regional and country teams. Requires 5+ years of experience in securing funding from government/multilateral/corporate/foundations, strong proposal-writing and strategic planning skills, and English-language communication. Role focuses on resource mobilization to support the Country Strategic Plan and may involve traveling for emergency response and fundraising activities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in International Development, Project Planning and Management, Social Studies or related, or equivalent experience.
