Job Summary
Senior commercial leader for Swift Solar’s utility-scale module sales, focused on developing and managing strategic accounts across IPPs, utilities, developers, EPCs, and procurement organizations. Responsible for advancing customer relationships from early engagement through LOIs and framework agreements, shaping commercial strategy for HJT and tandem products, coordinating with product management and leadership to support diligence and bankability, managing ongoing customer engagement and travel, building strategic account plans, negotiating commercial terms and partnership structures, and communicating market intelligence and competitive pricing trends. Requires deep utility-scale solar market experience, strong relationship-management capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex pre-manufacturing commercial processes; travel up to 50% within North America; HQ in San Carlos, CA with remote work options.
Required Qualifications
- 10-15 years of utility-scale solar commercial, sales, or business development experience
- Existing relationships across IPPs, developers, EPCs, utilities, and procurement organizations
- Experience selling utility-scale solar modules, trackers, or major project equipment
- Strong understanding of utility-scale procurement and project development processes
- Experience managing long-cycle enterprise sales and complex commercial negotiations
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup and pre-manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and account management skills
- Ability to travel within North America
