Job Summary
Head of Member Operations (Assistant Branch Manager) oversees branch operations and staff to align with branch goals and service standards, supervises day-to-day activities, drives lending and deposit growth, opens/closes the branch per security policies, coaches staff to achieve member relationship growth and satisfaction, ensures onboarding timelines and problem resolution, and promotes member self-service while modeling the credit union’s values. Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience (HS/GED with equivalent experience) and supervisory/retail banking experience; must obtain and maintain NMLS registration and complete SAFE Act trainings; strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of lending software and MS Office are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or High School/GED certificate with equivalent experience
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory role
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years retail experience in a financial institution required
- Ability to multitask
- Exhibits strong leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Lending Software
