Head of Material Technology (m/w/d)

Lead the Material Technology team as the primary contact for material-related inquiries at the Cologne site. Support procurement, production, engineering, and development with material data, alternatives, and release procedures. Manage budget and investment responsibilities while ensuring compliance and occupational safety. Represent the company in technical committees, working groups, and industry events. Drive process improvement projects, supplier qualifications, and audits. Contribute to patent monitoring and collaborate with external testing and research institutions. This role is part of NKT's mission to enable the energy transition through high-voltage cable solutions. The position requires a degree in materials science or related fields, strong leadership skills, and experience with budget management and regulatory standards.
