Head of Marketing, US Oncology

Job Summary
Oversee marketing activities for all products within the Oncology Franchise, leading annual brand planning and executing integrated marketing plans for in-line and pipeline brands. Manage day-to-day brand operations to ensure timely campaign development and execution, while monitoring performance KPIs and market dynamics to optimize strategy. Prioritize resources across a portfolio of products at various lifecycle stages to maximize impact and ROI, developing short and long-term forecasts alongside top-line revenue projections. Partner with stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Sales, and Regulatory teams to deliver compliant promotional content and manage North America launch timelines for new indications. Serve as a key liaison between marketing and the field force, collaborating with external agencies and Key Opinion Leaders to inform brand positioning. Lead a small team of brand leads, driving alignment on strategy and messaging while managing P&Ls and budget allocations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- 7+ years of in-line marketing / launch experience in U.S. in Oncology
- Proven ability to manage multiple brands or indications simultaneously
- Prior experience with direct reports and team management
- Experience in managing P&Ls
- Leadership skills, ability to manage appropriately in a fast paced environment and the ability to influence without authority
- Track record of being able to manage financials including budget, Gross to Nets and resource allocation
- Ability to develop executive level updates and narratives
- Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving organization with a hands-on and collaborative approach
- Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams, driving them towards achieving common goals in a fast paced evolving organization
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; talk and/or hear
- May occasionally climb stairs and/or ride elevators
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Employee must be able to manipulate keyboard, operate a telephone and hand-held devices
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Broad commercial leader who thinks strategically and drives execution/results; experience in sales and other areas within commercial is highly desired
